       Thank you for choosing our center for your health care needs.  As a top Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine center in Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland area, we are committed to providing excellent integrative health care service to you, your family, and your friends.  Dr. Arthur Fan, a Chinese Medicine Doctor (CMD, or MD(CHN), one of two forms of medical doctors in China), specializes in Acupuncture, Chinese Herboloy, and body manipulation, with more than three decades of experience with additional training in bio-medicine. Dr. Fan is able to understand the conventional terms and varying conditions used by MDs, and translate them into Chinese Medicine terms in order to treat patients. Dr. Fan uses a wide range of therapies such as classic Chinese acupuncture, Herbology (herbal tea / decoction, pills, etc.), and Cupping/Guasha, etc. for various pain managements, cancer treatment support, mental health improvement (anxiety/depression, OCD, ADD/ADHD control), neurological /immunological /endocrinological disorders, integrative infertility/women health, pediatric conditions, facial and body rejuvenation, or simply to just balance your overall health.

      We also focus on maintaining good health and treating illness through movement modalities and meditation such as Tai Chi and Qi gong.  You are welcome to have an informational and academic discussion with Dr. Fan, while you enjoy a cup of authentic Chinese green tea.

      1. Office Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday (Wednesday and Thursday off): 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM(12:00-1:00 PM off); Saturday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. There is one hour break from 12:00PM to 1:00PM.   By appointment only.

      

      2. Dr.Fan is an out-of-network doctor for all insurance plans (but we do use Aetna World Bank/IMF plans), in case you want to submit your claim to your insurance company, you may consult our office. If you meet critical weather, such as heavy snow, heavy rain, and big wind, you may cancel your appointment.

      Dr.Fan got an "Outstanding Contribution Award" from TCMAAA(Traditional Chinese Medicine Alumni Association of America) and ATCMA (American Traditional Chinese Medicine Association) on Dec 2, 2016 Annual meeting. He was nominated as the Chair, the Scientific Research Committee of TCMAAA.

     He also got twice Congress Awards in 2015 & 2017 respectively, for his contributions in promoting acupuncture and Chinese medicine in the United States.

     He is an academic member in 9 SCI journals' Editorial Boards internationally, among them, he is an assocate editor-in-Chief, Journal of Integrative Medicine (JIM), a prestigious medical journal.
